The Eastern Swiss musician and poet Olga Diener (1890–1963) composed 76 works and wrote countless poems, yet hardly any of it ever reached the public. Her withdrawal into a world of her own, the image of women in her time, and the catastrophes of the twentieth century stood in her way.

Her withdrawal into a world of her own, the image of women in her time, and the catastrophes of the twentieth century stood in her way. Still, her unmistakable and timeless oeuvre kept glowing after her death, even while it lay unnoticed in an archive for decades. With olgadiener.org, we want to bring Olga Diener’s work to light and make it accessible to the public in an online archive.
